Also why do the flowers explode??

They appeared when RGB turned black, so they're probably connected to his transformation and thus disappeared when he returned normal.
I remember reading another series where there were blue roses created artificially. Although they were beautiful, they represented despair or sadness in a fashion because they could not reproduce. I don't know if there is a connection at all though.
Fablegate 6th Jan 2014, 9:08 AM edit delete reply
I don't doubt that there's a connection. And the the tidbit you give about the blue roses is producing another theory in my brain. Okay, so we know that RGB told Hero she couldn't go home because she wasn't her anymore, yes? Now let's also think back to RGB's nightmare "This isn't how I died." And there is the current theory of RGB once being human but he is no longer him ((I still stand by my previous theory of him being the embodiment of dreams and nightmares)). Now how does this connect with the blue roses I'm gonna tell ya now. Theory: If RGB was once human he may have had a deformity in which his reproductive organs were infertile. This brings him to have some distain for children because he could never have children, at least not naturally. All his negativity, including that of his possible past human life, are kept within B&W; which would make sense if my dream/nightmare theory is correct. Again all theory.

IS it just me..or did they look like dreams when they popped? like when they were popping the vials. Could they be RGB's dreams...he does say they don't sit well with him..
Something Horrible 27th Jan 2015, 8:45 PM edit delete reply
I think they signify RGB's color, so when he returns to normal they "pop" to show his color is coming back.

Man, I need to see where this is going!
I also love the effect On RGB in the last panel.

Okay, so now we know. It's not death that RGB fears from water, but B&W, his Mr. Hyde.
SonicHearts 6th Jan 2014, 6:44 AM edit delete reply
is the noise of the flowers popping the sound of when lightbulbs explode?
cause thats what I'm hearing in my head and it adds nicely to the effect if it is the intended sound~

The strange black spiral in RGB's face on the 2nd panel, reminds me of how I feel when I get a migraine headache.

Maybe as the 'hero' of the story, she'll find a way to save RGB from himself...

I think that RGB is love. The reason why is that love is very unpredictable and can be found in strange places. It perseveres and hopes for the best ending, like how RGB refuses to accept the end of the world. Love also can be fickle and stubborn, sometimes lacking any sort of tact (RGB in a nutshell). Love can also be very scary. It can drive people mad and to do crazy things. It also can create people who will become HEROES because they have a love. B&W is the scary side of love like responsibility, madness, jealousy, depression, infatuation, and anger. Normal RGB is the happier side of love mixed with a bit of the sad side of love like happiness, humor, acceptance, ATTACHMENT, heartbreak, leaving, finality, inevitability, loneliness. RGB, if he embodies love then he would also embody everything that vies for love.

Cool. Noticed the dial change as soon as he went B&W on the ground. Good to see his settings reverting with them spinning back into place.

I'm guessing his warning in the graveyard was going to be for Hero to never ever put him into this mode, which probably means she can actually dial this mode in manually now that she knows what it looks like...
