the_Nalvor 19th Nov 2014, 7:06 PM edit delete reply
I would say more like several instruments, since the main body is a harp with tubas as front legs.
Anon2 20th Nov 2014, 6:01 AM edit delete reply
It has a harp, tubas, french horns, Djembe drums, a pan flute, Cymbals, and a violin from what I can see.
Zafaroth 20th Nov 2014, 5:45 PM edit delete reply
I'm not an instrument guy but I think you forgot to list the things that you see on a drum set, for the bottom of her feet? Don't know what thier called, of course I'm contested in deciding if those are cymbals or if the thing making up like a collar around her neck(?) are cymbals, not well versed in my instruments lol.
Danes 20th Nov 2014, 6:13 PM edit delete reply
The feet are bongos I believe
Victor Frost 21st Nov 2014, 3:48 AM edit delete reply
They're Djembe, actually.
Bart 23rd Nov 2014, 9:23 AM edit delete reply
There's also a couple triangles and a tambourine in there! And... oh my gosh those are vibraslaps YES GOOD
Anon2 20th Nov 2014, 6:01 AM edit delete reply
and an accordion for the neck.

Well, they are a knife-legs-flamingo and a musical-instrument-lion. Being females is the least unusual thing you could mention about this pair )
:| 16th Nov 2014, 8:09 PM edit delete reply
They aren't even human, so it doesn't matter, does it. Even if they were, it still wouldn't matter.
Jack 16th Nov 2014, 8:10 PM edit delete reply
"Ohhhh no the dancing knife-bird gets jiggy with a collection of instruments that also identifies as female! I am miffed that these fictional characters do not conform to my beliefs! :////////"
Guest 16th Nov 2014, 10:00 PM edit delete reply
lol if you don't like this I doubt you'll like the fact that RGBs pan and has dated this other guy before
Curious Guest 20th Nov 2014, 2:17 AM edit delete reply
Wait, RGB? Pan? Dated? Was there like, another comic with him that I missed?
Strijdi 23rd Nov 2014, 7:10 PM edit delete reply
There isn't another comic, but after someone on tumblr drew RGB next to their own objecthead, Magnus, people started to ship them. The creators liked it and so now it's canon that in the past, RGB dated Magnus. It's not shown in comic, though.

Even in the name of equality, #1 Don't be mean, #2 Don't jump to conclusions. You just ripped that person a new butthole, and they didn't even mean it that way.
SmokecriminalSmoke 16th Nov 2014, 11:10 PM edit delete reply
maybe, since it's a dream world, it's an anything goes rule? Male and female being, technically, and lesibianism and the like, human terms?

I dunno, theres a lot about this world that keeps us guessing-that's why we constantly come back
:/ 17th Nov 2014, 4:31 AM edit delete reply
YO everyone chill the fuck out, I don't give to shits that the fucking instrument lion and evil flamingo wings are both lesbians, I was just wondering why he put that detail in, not saying it's a bad one
Anani Mouse 17th Nov 2014, 4:40 AM edit delete reply
Mod's a girl, just so y'know. And an adorable little pixie of a candyfloss-haired thing too. This comic makes me wonder what dark things that bright hair conceals sometimes though. :P It's like all Alice in Wonderland up in there, I bet.
HorizontalHorizon 17th Nov 2014, 6:07 AM edit delete reply
The creator is a woman too yo
Anonny 17th Nov 2014, 7:19 AM edit delete reply
If this universe is the imagination of a 7-year-old like I still suspect it is, it is entirely innocent.

I somehow don't think this ballerina is who tore Toby apart and sewed him back together. I don't think she'd have the patience for that.
Me 18th Nov 2014, 10:05 AM edit delete reply
Technically, Mod has said that they don't care what pronouns you use for him/her. Most people use she/her it seems because she is physically female, but Mod doesn't really mind.

I am torn between "hell yes" for the adorable lesbian couple (one plays and the other dances, eeeee) and "wow what a copout" for Hero cornering RGB )=
Hero noooooooooooo
I mean it's not that I want her to go home and end the story, but I do want RGB to explain why she can't.
(I hope for the copy version rather than the kidnapping version)
Katkunk 16th Nov 2014, 11:15 PM edit delete reply
I'm almost expecting Melody to be a bit like Tuba and her dad from Baman Piderman...that is, only communicating with music, but everyone seems to know what they're saying.

Guest 17th Nov 2014, 1:11 AM edit delete reply
Whatever sound just came out of her was probably very similar to my high school band when we all play the wrong note at once in quadruple forte

A.K.A - The most unsettling sound you can possibly imagine.
Anonny 17th Nov 2014, 2:14 AM edit delete reply
Lately this comic is setting a new bar for incomprehensibility almost every day. XD
Evbay 17th Nov 2014, 2:14 AM edit delete reply
I just imagine Melody just screaming "FORTE!!!!" Really loudly
Crud 17th Nov 2014, 3:02 AM edit delete reply
It'd just be Melody screaming. Forte means loud. Either that or she's screwing the word loud.

anonymousse 17th Nov 2014, 7:24 PM edit delete reply
Last panel. Melody's head is mind-blowingly phallic. Why has no-one noticed this?
CaptainPedantic 18th Nov 2014, 1:15 PM edit delete reply
* mane. And I'm pretty certain that it was unintentional, but there is an extremely remote chance at Mod subtly showing that melody had /has some masculine characteristics or possibly that she was born genetically male, or that melody is genderqueer. Or any number of things, but really given what we know now, we shouldn't try extrapolate on such tiny threads with nothing to back them up.
Katkunk 19th Nov 2014, 2:20 AM edit delete reply
I think they're referring to the top of the violin/cello that makes the top of the face. It's...yeah...
lightsabermario 17th Nov 2014, 7:29 PM edit delete reply
I'm curious as to what specific musical composition that is that it's blasting. You can see the sheet music in the background behind Hero and the others, and it looks very complex.
RoastingPeeps 18th Nov 2014, 10:47 AM edit delete reply
I'm pretty sure that the score in the backround is what a conductor would look at for all parts, which would be why it looks so complex. ^^"
SoulPieces 22nd Nov 2014, 9:35 PM edit delete reply
If that IS a score for a full orchestra, then that is a deceivingly simple piece, and is a condensed score.

No, I'm almost positive that is a piano piece, given the arrangement of notes and bars. There's clearly two staffs connected in each line of music, and the notes are very reasonable for a pianist's hands to reach. If not piano then maybe organ, but I'm still almost positive it's piano.

And given that, it looks like a lot of fun to play. I also wanna know what piece it is so I can track it down and learn it :)

Dang... I was hoping this Julienne was a male... so that Melody could be the wife....

I just love strong masculine females married to feminine males for some reason.

Oh well, they're not human, so I don't care.
Silly Bad PEarBits 19th Nov 2014, 1:06 AM edit delete reply
Oh no!! His cane! I bet it's gonna land somewhere horrible. Like thru someone, or in one of Melody's pipes.

I swear if it impales Hero again
Morai 19th Nov 2014, 4:53 AM edit delete reply
Oh my goodness, I forgot that there was going to be a new page the other day. This is just a wonderful edition. A dangerous, ballet dancing, crane (?) Is married to a sentient cluster of life is complete, and the head cannons are way to strong that the two of them would put on the best show ever (ballet to the sweet sounds of her wife's music).

Guest 23rd Nov 2014, 7:43 PM edit delete reply
Or worse, Fortississimo (three F. I know there's a four F too but I don't know the name of it off the top of my head)

Shady the Sheep 24th Nov 2014, 1:43 AM edit delete reply
Here's something I'm confused about personally: Melody's feet are cymbals and drums... How did she manage to sneak up that close behind Hero without the latter hearing her? (Yes, of all the questions I could be asking about now, that's the thing that bugs me. Willing Suspension of Disbelief is funny like that sometimes. :p)
SnypeStar 24th Nov 2014, 7:05 AM edit delete reply
Woah, I didn't even notice the faint sheet music in the last panel. And I've looked at this page like twenty times.
