Ah-ha! I knew it. I saw the Doubts crawling onto Hero earlier. Run RGB! Those things could devour Hero whole! D:

I think this page says a bit of RGB's feelings towards Hero. This isn't the first time RGB has been through this, bringing a "hero" to that world, and I get the sense that RGB gave up on the past alleged "heroes". But, as seen here, as well as page 36, RGB is very well concerned for Hero's well-being. Madras sees this in Page 42 and warns RGB of getting attached. His reaction to that suggests that, well, he has gotten attached before. And I think he's gotten attached again. So, this leads me to believe that RGB isn't a jerk, he's just hurt and confused which has left a really big dent in his people skills.

how is that not obvious

also "chestnut" is the best swear word
Kate_Dog 10th Feb 2014, 9:25 PM edit delete reply

I feel like this scene gives us a glimpse into RGB's past. Perhaps when he mentions that Hero isn't the first to want to go back, he's talking about when he first entered the world that they're currently in. But then again what do I know xD

We've seen ideas, I'm guessing these are doubts.
